What to Expect From PDO Threads

Step 1: Consultation

During your consultation, your provider will ask you about your aesthetic goals. After examining your skin, your provider will customize a PDO threads treatment plan for your unique skin and desired results.

Step 2: Treatment

We will inject a local anesthetic to numb your skin before starting treatment. Depending on the number of threads, your appointment will last between 30 and 75 minutes.

Step 3: Results

A PDO thread lift can immediately transform your skin! You may experience some swelling and bruising after treatment, but after it heals, you’ll enjoy your rejuvenated complexion for the next 12 to 14 months!

Care Instructions

Pre-Care Instructions

  • If possible, avoid blood thinners for a week leading up to your appointment. Consult your medical provider before discontinuing any medication.
  • Avoid any NSAIDs, St. John’s Wort, and vitamin E supplements to reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding.
  • Avoid cigarettes and alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before your PDO thread lift.

Post-Care Instructions

  • Sleep with your head elevated after your PDO thread lift.
  • Avoid straining or placing pressure on your face. Don’t massage or manipulate the tissue.
  • For the next few weeks, avoid UV exposure, strenuous activity, saunas, hot tubs, and any activities that might cause excessive facial movement or animation.
