Still have questions?
The number of treatments will vary for each patient depending on their unique skin and the severity of their acne. Your provider will develop a personalized treatment plan for you that includes a recommended number of sessions. We often recommend between 4 and 10 sessions for best results.
Blue light has minimal side effects. The blue light penetrates only deep enough to reach the acne. You may experience some blistering and swelling, similar to a mild sunburn, and your skin might crust or flake. These side effects should disappear on their own within about 2 weeks.
