Meet Our Team
Jennifer Laframboise
FNP-BC, DCNP
Jennifer Laframboise is a dermatology certified nurse practitioner who treats patients of all ages with psoriasis, eczema, skin cancer, acne and many other conditions.
She also performs facial aesthetics services as well, including filler injections and sclerotherapy.
A native of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Laframboise’s interest in dermatology began at a young age when she took an interest in the treatment of her sister’s rare skin condition. She obtained a Bachelor's degree and completed her Master of Science Degree in Nursing at the University of North Dakota. She started working as a nurse practitioner in Grand Forks in 2012, and became one of North Dakota's only dermatology certified nurse practitioners in 2018.
Laframboise resides in Grand Forks with her husband, Nathan, and two children. She enjoys time with family, reading, gardening, golf and being outdoors.
Sara Bydal
Clinic Manager
Sara's official title is Clinic Manager, but she really does a little bit of everything! She's the girl behind the morning emails, the monthly specials, billing, Facebook, Instagram, etc! Each day you will find Sara interacting with staff, patients, and supply companies to ensure that Total Skin is our customer's preferred destination for Dermatology & Aesthetic services.
Sara's career began in 2003 as an LPN in Oral Surgery in Duluth, MN. Shortly after that, she moved back to her hometown of Grand Forks with her husband Matt to start a family. She raised her three boys at home for the next 15 years and has been with Total Skin since its birth in November 2019. Her love for skincare and people made this the perfect fit!
She enjoys watching her three boys play hockey, golf, and tennis when she's not at Total Skin. She also enjoys golfing with the girls, spending time with family and friends, going for walks, and the outdoors.
Whitney Howe
RN-BSN, Certified Laser Specialist, Aesthetic Nurse
Whitney’s passion for helping others led her to the health and wellness industry, where she has been working as a Medical and Aesthetic Laser Nurse since 2015. She graduated with honors from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. After graduating she accepted a job as a Labor & Delivery nurse, where she worked for 3 years.
In 2015 she furthered her education and added additional certifications to become a Certified Laser Technician and has been working in the industry since. With a background in advanced medical aesthetics, Whitney specializes in providing her clients with the knowledge, support, and current tools to help them reach their personalized skincare goals. She prides herself on her ability to personally connect with and listen to and understand the specific needs of each client.
Whitney is certified and trained in a wide variety of treatments such as Laser Hair Removal, Broadband Light (BBL/Photofacial), Microdermabrasion, Body Contouring, Microneedling with PRP, Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling, Laser Facial (Genesis), Laser Vein Therapy, and more.
In her free time, this Minnesota native enjoys time with her husband and three children, attending outdoor concerts, and binge-watching Netflix.
Alissa Riopelle
LPN
Alissa is originally from Argyle, MN, and moved to Grand Forks in 2011 to start her nursing career after receiving her LPN degree. She started working as Jennifer Laframboise's nurse in 2012 in Dermatology and Medical Aesthetics. Since then, she has obtained certification in Hydrafacial, dermaplaning, microneedling, PDT Treatments, chemical peels, and EmSculpt & Emsella. She has a warm and caring personality and is known for giving the BEST Hydrafacials!
She enjoys cooking, spending time with her fiance, Lorenzo and friends and family. She also loves spoiling her dog Remi in her spare time.
Kara Carlson
RN-BSN, Certified Laser Specialist, Nurse Injector
Kara is a RN-BSN at Total Skin. She is certified in cosmetic lasers and performs injectables. She earned her Bachelors Degree in nursing in 2011. Since then, she has worked in the medical-surgical unit at Sanford and then in surgery at Altru for 9 years prior to her aesthetic nursing career. She lives in Grand Forks with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and staying healthy, bike rides and golfing.

Casey Hoover
FNP-BC
Casey is an FNP-BC who resides in Moorhead, MN area and will be bringing expanded services to our Grand Forks Clinic. She brings more than 19 years of experience to Total Skin Dermatology & Aesthetics and specializes in hormone health and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) in addition to dermatology care, laser and injectable treatments and weight management services.
In her free time, Casey enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, attending baseball games and gymnastic meets. She also enjoys going to the lake and gardening.
Tasha Jundt
Master Esthetician, Licensed Massage Therapist
Tasha obtained her Aesthetic License in 2007 and her Master Aesthetician in 2010. In 2009 she became a licensed massage therapist specializing in combining Swedish and deep tissue techniques to create a unique and customized treatment for everyone. She is currently performing facials, peels, waxing, massage, and micropigmentation for eyeliner here at Total Skin.
Tasha is a native of Grand Forks with her husband and three daughters. She loves spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, gardening, and watching her kids grow.
Haley Henningsgard
LPN
Haley graduated from Northland Technical College in 2014 with her Radiologic Technology degree. Her passion for medicine and healthcare lead her to pursue her nursing degree. She graduated as a Licensed Practical nurse in 2019. Before graduating, Haley worked as a dermatology technician in Grand Forks and quickly learned that Dermatology is what she loved. She worked as a nurse in OBGYN for 2 years before heading back "home" to Dermatology as Jennifer Laframboise nurse. Haley assists Jennifer during her clinic day. She is the gal behind the nursing calls, medication refills, assisting Jenn with procedures etc!
Haley is a Grand Forks native graduating from Central High School where she met her husband, Kyle. She is a busy mom to two young boys. In her spare time, she loves playing with her kids, camping with her family, and walking on the Greenway.
Kaitlin Spivey
LPN
Kaitlin graduated from the University of North Dakota with her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2017. While working in the hospital, shortly after graduating, she realized that she wanted to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from Rasmussen College as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2019 and started working as a Podiatry nurse at Altru, where she worked for two years.
Kaitlin lives in Fisher, MN, with her Fiancé, son, and soon-to-be baby boy in June. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and being at the lake in her spare time.
Robyn Rusk
Dermatology Technician
Robyn began her nursing career in 1995 and worked in Minnesota and Iowa before staying home to raise her three children.
She and her family moved back to the area in 2002, and she returned to the workforce in 2015 as a Derm Tech. She fell in love with dermatology and has been with Jennifer since 2018.
She's a part-timer so you'll see her around the clinic 1-2 days a week and at our outreach clinics. In her spare time, Robyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, catering to her flower gardens, and being at the lake.
Jessica Riskey
Patient Care Specialist
Jess is originally from Minnesota and now calls East Grand Forks home with her husband and two children. She graduated from Northland Technical College in 2006 with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy. Her career has always been within the medial field and for the last 10 years she worked at Altru in OBGYN.
Jess has a passion for helping others and is excited to join the Total Skin team. She enjoys spending time with family, being her kids #1 fan in all their activities, being outdoors, and when time allows reading.
Kim Effhauser
Patient Care Specialist
Kim was born and raised in East Grand Forks but now lives in Grand Forks with her husband, 3 daughters and 2 dogs.
Kim graduated from Northland college with a degree in Medical Coding & Insurance. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, being at the lake and watching her kids in all their various activities.
Devils Lake, ND Location
Sarah Vetsch
RN-BSN, Certified Laser Specialist & Nurse Injector
Sarah is an RN-BSN from Devils Lake, ND who will serve our Total Skin clients in our new Devils Lake Clinic location. She is trained and certified in Laser Hair Removal, Microneedling with PRP, Hydrafacial, Dermaplaning and more. Sarah’s empathetic nature and desire to promote health and wellness led to her career in nursing.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from NDSU in 2009. Prior to joining our team in aesthetic nursing, she worked at CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital for 10 years in Labor and Delivery specializing as a Certified Lactation Counselor and Breastfeeding Educator and on the Medical Surgical unit in Case Management and Discharge Planning.
Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, Joe, 4 wonderful children, and a flock of free range chickens and ducks on their farm near Devils Lake. In her spare time, she loves gathering with her friends and family, entertaining, the outdoors, traveling, listening to music, reading and researching.
Seaira
RN, Aesthetic Nurse
Seaira is originally from Dickinson, ND, and moved to Devils Lake to be closer to friends and family and to finish nursing school. She has worked in nursing homes, assisted living, and private care and is excited to work in dermatology and aesthetics.
In her spare time, Seaira enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her two dogs, going to the lake, traveling, reading, and backpacking.
Ashley Dick
Patient Care Specialist
Ashley is new to Devils Lake and is excited to be part of the Total Skin Team. Ashley is a Texas native who recently relocated to the area for her husband's job. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and traveling with her husband.
