Job Summary: 

At Total Skin Dermatology, Aesthetics & Wellness, we’re passionate about helping our patients look and feel their best. We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our growing aesthetics team in Grand Forks.

This is a great opportunity for an RN who is passionate about aesthetics and enjoys combining clinical expertise with personalized patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience with or a strong interest in laser treatments and cosmetic injectables and is excited to continue learning and growing in the aesthetics industry.

You will provide consultations and perform a variety of aesthetic treatments, with a primary focus on laser and light-based treatments and cosmetic injectables. This position works closely with our dermatology and aesthetics providers to develop individualized treatment plans and provide safe, high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience.

This position is approximately 24–32 hours per week.

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform aesthetic treatments within RN scope of practice and clinic protocols, including:
    • Laser and light-based skin treatments
    • Laser hair reduction
    • Neuromodulator & dermal filler injections
    • Microneedling and other advanced aesthetic treatments
  • Conduct thorough patient consultations and assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient concerns, goals, and clinical needs.
  • Educate patients about treatment options, expected results, potential risks, and appropriate pre- and post-treatment care.
  • Take and maintain standardized before-and-after photos when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Follow all clinical, safety, sanitation, and infection-control protocols.
  • Monitor patients during and after procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns or complications.
  • Build lasting patient relationships through exceptional care, communication, and follow-up.
  • Recommend appropriate professional skincare products and complementary treatments.
  • Collaborate with dermatology providers, aestheticians, nurses, and other members of the Total Skin team.
  • Participate in ongoing education, hands-on training, team meetings, and aesthetic events.

 

Qualifications: 

Required

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in North Dakota.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Professional, positive, and dependable attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Passion for aesthetics, skincare, and helping patients feel confident.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or a medical spa setting.
  • Experience performing cosmetic injections, including neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
  • Experience with laser and light-based aesthetic treatments.
  • Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products and treatment protocols.
  • Previous aesthetic consultation or skincare sales experience.
