TETRA CO2
LASER RESURFACING

What are the benefits of Tetra CO2 Laser Resurfacing?

There are various reasons to consider the benefits of Tetra CO2 Laser Resurfacing, ranging from changes in skin quality to the formation of visible imperfections on the skin. Laser skin resurfacing with CO2 Lasers is widely considered the gold standard for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, as well as:

  • Fine Lines & Wrinkles

  • Enlarged Pores

  • Scars (including Acne Scars)

  • Signs of Aging

How does the Tetra CO2 Laser work?

The Tetra CO2 Laser is used to remove damaged skin tissue from the skin's surface while simultaneously stimulating the growth of new skin and collagen matrixes underneath the skin. As one of the most recent and technologically sophisticated CO2 technologies available, the Tetra is more customizable, allowing your provider to better control the intensity, depth, and amount of laser energy being delivered.

Who is a good candidate for Tetra CO2 Laser Resurfacing?

With Tetra, your provider may tailor your treatment to meet the specific demands of your skin type. A more intensive treatment to improve the deeper appearance of wrinkles or acne scars, with a week or two of social downtime, or a milder treatment to freshen the skin with minimal downtime.

How many treatments will I need?

A single CO2 treatment is sufficient for most patients; however, specific individuals with deeper creases or scars may require more CO2 sessions to get satisfactory results. The outcome and recovery duration are dependent on your specific treatment.

What is the recovery time for CO2 Laser Resurfacing?

There is a period of downtime involved with a CO2 laser procedure. Plan for approximately 7-10 days of downtime to allow your body to recuperate properly. Your skin will scab and peel for 2-7 days following treatment, and it will be pink for 3-4 weeks after that as well. The exact time it takes to heal varies from individual to individual .
