What is the Motus AY Laser?

Motus AY is the new Nd:YAG and Alexandrite platform that gives providers the chance to amplify the range of treatments offered to their patients, from virtually painless hair removal to non-ablative photorejuvenation, to vascular and pigmented lesion treatments.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments needed varies from patient to patient, and your provider will personalize a treatment plan based on your needs and skin condition. When treating pigment or vascular lesions it is typical to need multiple treatments for optimal results.

What will happen during the treatment?

Every treatment is customizable when using the Motus AY Laser system. Your treatment will vary depending on the skin condition being targeted.

What should I expect after the treatment?

If pigment or vascular lesions are the target, your skin may appear red and have a mild sunburn sensation that should resolve within a few hours or days. Pigmented lesions will darken within 48 hours and flake off over the next 1- 3 weeks for most clients. Vascular lesions may disappear, lighten, or appear unchanged but fade over time. Results depend on your skin type, the number of treatments, and the skin condition being treated.

What after-care instructions should I follow?

Most pigment and vascular lesions require multiple treatments. Your provider will discuss a treatment plan for your individual skin concerns. Your provider will discuss aftercare plans to follow that will involve avoiding direct sun exposure and using screen.
