Total Skin Dermatology & Aesthetics is a multi-specialty, independently owned clinic serving patients in Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, Devils Lake and the surrounding areas. 

Our clinic offers comprehensive dermatology and aesthetic services. We combine luxury care and medical expertise with state-of-the-art treatments and procedures for skin + body health. Our most popular treatments include BOTOX® Cosmetic, fillers, microderms, chemical peels, and laser treatments.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, fast learning, caring and compassionate Patient Service Specialist in Grand Forks. A Patient Service Specialist engages with new and existing patients with an outgoing personality.

 

Excellent listening and communication skills, professional demeanor, and a passion for exceptional customer service are just a few of the qualities that would make a successful Patient Service Specialist.

This is a full time position with hours ranging from 8:00AM - 5PM, M-F.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED Required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in customer service required.

  • Experience handling a large volume of calls and strong communication skills required.

  • Must possess strong computer and communication skills

  • Medical billing and insurance experience required

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Open and close the clinic according to protocol.

  • Register arriving patients in a warm and professional manner.

  • Ensure all new patient paperwork is completed accurately, photo ID, insurance, billing and HIPAA information is collected.

  • Maintain patient records and patient confidentiality, comply with HIPAA and practice compliance guidelines.

  • Confidently answer and convert calls into scheduled appointments while providing exceptional customer service to each caller.

  • Detailed knowledge of the clinic specialties, products, and current promotions to inform and educate patients.

  • An understanding of each provider's individual skills and abilities to easily make scheduling decisions and recommendations to patients.

  • Outbound calls to answer patient inquiries, book appointments and sell services.

  • Check out patients working with providers and nurses to ensure patient satisfaction.

  • Create reports and perform other administrative tasks.

  • Assist with billing responsibilities such as claim submission, denial follow up, accounts receivable, and payment posting
